BALATON: VESZPRÉM+HEREND+TIHANY
Full day tour

Departure in the morning to Veszprém, which was built on five hills and has a very long history. For centuries, the queens of Hungary were crowned by the bishop of
Veszprém. The city is still often called "the City of Queens". Visiting of the Arcbishop Palace and the oldest building of the city, the Gizella Chapel (13th century). The tour ends with a walk in the city.

Then the car goes to Herend, a nice city famous for its porcelain. The Manufacture of Herend used to be the official porcelain maker of Emperor Franz Joseph and his
wife, Queen Sissi. Here guests visit the Museum of Mini Manufacture and after, they get a coffee in the Museum's Café.

Then they go to the Tihany Peninsula, where they get a traditional Hungarian lunch (3 course, coffee, mineral water, 1 gl of wine). After lunch, guests visit the
Benedictine Abbey of Tihany, where the first recorded pieces of written Hungarian can be seen, dating back to the 11th century. Following some free time in Tihany,
the car goes to the town of Balatonfüred, that is also called the capital of the Northern shore. After a walk on the Tagore Avenue, the car departs back to Budapest and after a 2-hour drive arrives back to the hotel.

BALATON: TIHANY+ BADACSONY+BALATONFÜRED
Full day tour

Departure in the morning to Tihany, a beautiful town that lies in a peninsula in Lake Balaton. Guests visit the Benedictine Abbey, where they can see the Letter of
Foundation of 1055 which, although written in Latin, contains the first recorded pieces of written Hungarian.

After Tihany, the car goes to Badacsony, which is famous for its wine, with vineyards dating back to Roman times. The nearby basalt mountains are unique geological
relics, and the habitat of many rare plants and animals. Following a boat trip on the lake, guests get a traditional Hungarian lunch (3 course, coffee, mineral water, 1 gl of wine). After lunch, they go to taste the rightly famous wines of the region.

In the afternoon the car leaves to Balatonfüred, that is also called the capital of the Northern shore. Following a walk on the Tagore Avenue, the car departs backto Budapest and after a 2-hour drive arrives back to the hotel.
